How fees work

There's one processing fee on each paid sale: 5% + €0.50. That's the whole price. Card costs and payouts are included, nothing else is deducted, and free events stay free.

The fee applies to every paid sale: event tickets, products, memberships and one-time sponsorships. For a recurring membership it's charged on each payment — the first one and every renewal. The fixed part is charged in the currency you sell in, at roughly the same value:

On a €20 ticket the processing fee is €1.50 and you keep €18.50.

The same price for every buyer

Cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and other payment methods cost different amounts to process, depending on the card and where your buyer is from. You don't have to think about that: the processing fee is the same 5% + €0.50 whatever your buyer pays with.

Payouts are free

Moving your earnings to your bank account costs nothing. See Payouts for how payouts work.

Refunds and disputes

• Refunds: when you refund a buyer, they get the full amount back and it comes out of your balance. The processing fee isn't returned.
• Disputes: if a buyer disputes a payment with their bank (a chargeback) and the dispute is lost, the disputed amount and the card network's dispute fee are deducted from your balance.

Recurring memberships

Each payment for a recurring membership is a sale like any other: the same 5% + €0.50, on the first payment and on every renewal. On a €10 monthly membership the processing fee is €1 and you keep €9 each month.

Recurring sponsorships

Monthly sponsorships still work as before: the processing fee on each payment is what our payment processor, Stripe, charges for it — typically around 2.9% + 30 cents, depending on the card and the buyer's country.
